We had a truly magical stay at Thalori - an old village up in the mountains. the views of the sea and mountains were breathtaking, and the infinity pool was simply enchanting. the fully equipped housekeeping suites were cozy and had everything we needed. the homemade local food in the restaurant was delicious, especially the self-made bread, olive oil, and salt. Markos and his wife, the hosts, were warm and welcoming. the staff was friendly and helpful. Thalori was an unforgettable experience, perfect for hiking, mountain biking, or simply relaxing. Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. 😊.

I recently stayed at Thalori in Kapetaniana for a week-long vacation. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the ocean from the hillside. The hotel is located in a charming village and the surrounding scenery is filled with beautiful flowers and white houses. The air is filled with the fragrant aroma of Mediterranean spices and figs. The pool area is small but cozy, perfect for relaxation. The restaurant serves delicious food and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. If you're a couple who loves nature and wants to explore the beautiful beaches and archaeological sites in the area, Thalori is the perfect place for you.
Would recommend this hotel.

Thalori was like a majestic home away from home for our 4 night stay. We traveled all over Crete from here- Even though this resort is somewhat remote it is absolutely worth the stay and getting to and from any adventure you might want to take in Crete. The rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious, with beautiful views of the mountains and sea. The food was absolutely fantastic and very fresh! Everyone who worked there was very hospitable and kind. We will definitely be back again!
Do recommend this hotel.
